In accordance with Article 32 of the Statute of the AMEU-ISH:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Faculty Senate deliberates and decides on professional issues in the field of education and scientific research of the faculty, in particular:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>accepts the Statute of the Faculty in accordance with the Constitution Act and with the consent of the founder,<\/li>\n<li>appoints the Dean and pro Dean of the faculty with the consent of the founder,<\/li>\n<li>takes decision on study courses,<\/li>\n<li>take decisions concerning restrictions on entry,<\/li>\n<li>sets the criteria for awarding titles of university lecturer, researcher and associate,<\/li>\n<li>with consent of the Council of the Republic of Slovenia for Higher Education, it elects the title of university lecturers, researchers and associates,<\/li>\n<li>decides on the withdrawal of the title of university teacher, researcher and associate,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses a three-membered habilitation committee to report on learning and research capacity of the candidate<\/li>\n<li>adopts programmes of research and development of operational work,<\/li>\n<li>accepts the study timetable,<\/li>\n<li>discusses the financing plan,<\/li>\n<li>accepts topics of master\u2019s theses,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses tutors\/mentors and co-mentors of master\u2019s study,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses the expert committee for evaluation of master&#8217;s theses,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses the commission for the defence of master\u2019s theses,<\/li>\n<li>accepts topics of doctoral dissertations,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses a three-membered committee for the evaluation of doctoral dissertations and qualifications of candidates to complete doctoral dissertations,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses a three-membered committee for the evaluation and defence of submitted doctoral dissertations,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses heads of organisational units, if the faculty establishes them,<\/li>\n<li>adopts an expert opinion on young researchers and decides on their candidacy,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses the committee for nostrification and decides on nostrification of foreign diplomas in cases, set by the law,<\/li>\n<li>decides on appeals of students in study matters,<\/li>\n<li>discusses and decides on the opinions of the faculty student council within their competence,<\/li>\n<li>appoints and dismisses its working bodies,<\/li>\n<li>decides on other matters specified in this Statute and the HEA.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Senate of Alma Mater Europaea ISH<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 prof. ddr.
